Delete Account

We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to permanently delete your KaeL account and what happens to your data.

How to Delete Your Account

Method 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)

Open the KaeL app on your device
Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar
Go to Settings
Scroll down and tap Account
Tap Delete Account
Read the confirmation message carefully
Enter your password to confirm your identity
Tap Permanently Delete My Account

Your account deletion will be processed immediately.

Method 2: Request via Email

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request to support@gdesir.com with:

Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
Your registered email address
Reason for deletion (optional)

We will process your request within 7 business days.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

Your profile information (name, email, profile picture)
All tasks, notes, and reminders you created
Calendar entries created through KaeL
App preferences and settings
Notification history

What Is Retained

We may retain the following for legal and operational purposes:

Transaction records if you had a paid subscription (retained for 7 years for legal/tax compliance)
Anonymized usage analytics that cannot be linked back to you
Support ticket history may be retained for 2 years

Subscription Cancellation

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription. Before deleting your account, please cancel your subscription through:

iOS: App Store → Your Name → Subscriptions → KaeL → Cancel
Android: Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions → KaeL → Cancel

Data Recovery

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. We recommend exporting your data before deletion if needed.
