Welcome to RICA, the smart car maintenance app operated by GDESIR Group. RICA helps you track services on your vehicles, receive personalized reminders, and discover recommendations that can improve with input from a global community of drivers. By using RICA, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using RICA, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility and Your Account
You must meet the minimum age required in your region (at least 13 years old where permitted). You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Content You Provide
By uploading photos, notes, service records, ratings, comments, or other materials ("User Content"), you confirm that you have the rights needed to share that content and that it does not violate applicable law or third-party rights. You grant GDESIR Group a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, process, and improve the App using your User Content (including for recommendations and safety moderation). You retain ownership of your User Content subject to this license.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use RICA to:
- Share false or dangerously misleading information about vehicle safety or maintenance when presented as factual guidance
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against others
- Violate intellectual property or privacy rights
- Attempt to interfere with or compromise the App or other users' accounts
- Use the App for unlawful purposes
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
5. Intellectual Property
The RICA app, branding, logos, and our original materials are owned by GDESIR Group or its licensors. User Content remains yours as stated above.
6. Maintenance Information and Professional Advice
Information in RICA—including reminders, community tips, and recommendations—is provided for convenience and organization. It is not a substitute for a qualified mechanic, manufacturer guidelines, or official inspections. Always verify maintenance intervals and procedures for your specific vehicle and jurisdiction.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GDESIR Group is not liable for vehicle damage, accidents, fines, or other losses arising from reliance on the App or user-generated content. Your use of RICA is at your own risk.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached or if required for legal or security reasons.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes where required. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
